The 4th Transnational Project Meeting on TIMS project and the Learning Lab took place in Zaragoza, Spain
Between October 2-8, 2023, the fourth transnational meeting and the second training session (Learning Lab) of the project "TIMS - Training in the Innovation Management System for the sustainable development of SMEs" took place in Zaragoza, Spain ".
The representatives of the project partners participated in the event organized by the Spanish partner STP EUROPA. In the first days of the event, details were discussed regarding the innovation audit tool based on the ISO 56000 standard. It was created by partners to be tested within companies that want to expand the existing quality management system of the management system of innovation to launch a competitive strategy that supports their resilience and competitiveness. The partners also presented training curriculum based on ISO standards dedicated to SMEs. The course modules will be:
• ISO 56002 – Innovation management system
• ISO 56003 – Tools and methods for innovation partnerships
• ISO 56004 – Evaluation of innovation management
• ISO 56005 – Management of intellectual property
• ISO 56006 – Strategic intelligence management
• ISO 56007 – Tools and methods for idea management
The TIMS Innovation Self-Assessment Tool will provide a complete vision for leadership and innovation by including management, interpersonal and reflective skills, which will then be applied in developing an innovative modus operandi in European SMEs based on the ISO 56000 series standards for Innovation Management.
In the last two days, the 4th Steering Committee Meeting of the partners took place, during which aspects related to project management, dissemination, quality management and financial reporting were presented.
The TIMS project is addressed to people who need to acquire knowledge for the initiation and implementation of innovative ideas or projects in organizations, so that the existing quality management system is extended to the innovation management system, with a view to launching competitive strategies.
Also, among the objectives of the project are also supporting the creation and access to training paths for adults, through adapted learning offers, specially designed for SMEs; increasing adults' interest in the means of improvement through effective guidance and motivation strategies, to ensure access to lifelong learning; promoting innovation in European SMEs as the main tool for facilitating sustainability; adapting to changes at European level (such as the pandemic crisis); expanding and developing training skills and people who support adult learners, by creating teaching methods and tools through the effective use of innovative solutions and digital technologies.
The project consortium consists of seven partners: Latvian Quality Association (Riga, Latvia) which is the coordinator, ISQ Institute (Porto Salvo, Portugal), Company I.S.C.N. - International experts in software for collaboration networks (Graz, Austria), Consulting company in technical-professional solutions (Zaragoza, Spain), Tournis Consulting (Agios Stefanos, Greece), South Muntenia Regional Development Agency (Călăraşi, Romania), Deloris Mundo Limited (Lagos, Nigeria).
